Technology
Widex is renowned for developing hearing aids with state-of-the-art technology.

One of the reasons for our technological success is the effort put into creating a natural listening experience. 

When developing hearing aids, we concentrate not just on speech or loud sounds, but weak sounds too – that is, all the sounds in the real world.


The microchips in Widex newest hearing aids contain more than 10 million components. Just about 10 years ago, a hearing aid contained only 200.000 components.


Environment
Widex has constructed a headquarters, complete with production facilities, that is entirely CO2 neutral. .

This reflects our ability to think ahead as we constantly seek new ways to make things better

Faced with global challenges such as the depletion of fossil fuels, it was therefore only natural for Widex to turn to other energy sources such as solar and wind power


The windmill will deliver more power annually than Widex uses in total; the excess power is fed into the electricity grid, providing a CO2-free energy contribution to the local area.
